As a general rule, pillows are made from insulating materials that trap heat, restrict airflow, and create hot, uncomfortable sleeping conditions. This is usually addressed by using gel inserts, micro-PCMs, or by “optimizing” airflow, with limited effect. Despite this, these pillows still use heat-trapping, air-flow restricting fill.
