About Face Organics B3 Cream
- We use NIACINAMIDE (B3) at a full 5% to reduce fine lines, even skin tone and improve texture. As an anti-aging ingredient it enhances barrier function, helping to increase ceramides, fatty acids and proteins that are important factors in the formation and maintenance of the outermost barrier of the skin. Barrier compromise is common in aging skin and can contribute to heightened sensitivity by allowing external insults easier entry.
- This VITAMIN B3 Niacinamide cream is well known for its skin lightening properties by acting as both a tyrosinase inhibitor and preventing the transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, a property that is very remarkable at concentrations of 5%. Formulated by a biologist who has, and therefore, understands sensitive, inflamed skin, we aim to give sensitive skin a fighting chance to enjoy the same anti-aging benefits everyone else can.
We manufacture our products by hand in small, fresh batches at a USDA Certified Facility. While the FDA does not require an expiration date on over the counter cosmetics, we recommend you use the product within 6 months of opening for maximum effectiveness.

A few simple, cohesive ingredients make our proprietary blend good for you, good for animals, and good for the planet. Niacinamide readily penetrates the stratum corneum and has a favorable tolerability profile, so it can be used in formulations at concentrations up to 5%, with a very low incidence of irritation, making it perfect for our sensitive skin friends. It is important not to use higher concentrations as with skin care, more is NOT better!
