Root Admin Guide Posted February 5, 2021 Root Admin Report Share Posted February 5, 2021 Chalcone, the structural backbone of chalconoids* An article discussing the pharmacological properties of chalcones had this to say about rosacea: "A subsequent study on 33 rosacea patients showed that the skin care products with licochalcone A are compatible with the standard topical treatment of the disease." [1] "Licochalcone A is a chalconoid, a type of natural phenol. It can be isolated from root of Glycyrrhiza glabra (liquorice) or Glycyrrhiza inflata. It shows antimalarial, anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral (specifically against influenza neuraminidase) properties in vitro."
