"Dihydroavenanthramide D (DHAvD) is a synthetic analog to naturally occurring avenanthramide, which is the active component in oats." [1]

Dihydroavenanthramide D has been shown to reduce itching, [2] inhibits mast cell degranulation and exhibits anti-inflammatory effects. [3]

Now Dihydroavenanthramide D along with Azelaic Acid has been shown to be "a valid therapeutic option for mild/moderate inflammatory rosacea." [4]
