Now recently published research co-authored by Windsor dermatologist Dr. Jerry Tan confirms what he regularly hears from his rosacea patients: Having this condition — characterized by facial redness, pimples and sometimes thickened red skin in the nasal area — frequently leads to embarrassment, loss of confidence, sadness, depression and despair."
