Eighty patients with different clinical types of rosacea were examined; the parameters of primary and intermediate products of lipid peroxidation, superoxide dismutase, plasma total antioxidative activity, and protein oxidative modification were studied. Based on the findings, oxidative therapy options for rosacea, treatment with an ozone-oxygen mixture in particular, are proposed.
